Acceptable Use Policy

Effective: 2026-08-05. This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and governs what you may generate, store, or publish using Scriplume. It applies to everyone, on every plan, including free trials.

1. What Scriplume is for

Scriplume is a writing workspace for original newsletters and blog articles that you publish under your own name or your business's name. Everything below follows from that.

2. Prohibited content

You may not use the service to generate, refine, store, or distribute:

Sexual or adult content. Sexually explicit or sexually suggestive material of any kind, and any sexual content involving minors, which we report to the relevant authorities.
Hate, harassment, and violence. Content that demeans or incites hostility against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation; targeted harassment of an individual; threats or glorification of violence; or content promoting self-harm.
Deception and impersonation. Writing published as though authored by a real person or organisation without their authorisation, fake news presented as reporting, fabricated quotes attributed to real people, fake reviews or testimonials, and astroturfing.
Academic submissions. Coursework, essays, dissertations, or any work to be submitted for academic credit as your own. Scriplume is not an essay-writing service and accounts used this way are closed.
Illegal, regulated, and harmful material.Instructions for weapons, malware, or attacks on computer systems; marketing for drugs, gambling, or counterfeit goods; unlicensed medical, legal, or financial advice presented as professional guidance; and any content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
Spam. Unsolicited bulk email, content generated purely to manipulate search rankings with no value to a reader, and mass-produced pages misrepresenting their origin.

3. Fair use of the platform

Do not reverse-engineer the service, resell access to it, share one account across multiple businesses, or deliberately exhaust the per-account AI-cost ceilings in a way that degrades service for others. Automated access outside the documented API is not permitted.

4. You are responsible for what you publish

Generated text is a draft, not a fact-check. Model output can be wrong, outdated, or unintentionally similar to existing work. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing anything before you publish it, and for the consequences of publishing it. Where the law in your jurisdiction requires you to disclose AI assistance, that disclosure is yours to make.

5. Independence from model providers

Scriplume is an independent product. We generate text through third-party large language models, including those operated by OpenAI, Anthropic, and DeepSeek, accessed through our own interface and prompts. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them, and their names appear here only to identify the technology we integrate. Your use of Scriplume is also subject to those providers' own usage policies, which prohibit much of what is listed in section 2 and may cause a request to be refused independently of us.

6. Enforcement

We investigate credible reports of misuse. Depending on severity we may warn you, remove content, suspend generation, or terminate the account. Serious violations — in particular anything involving minors — result in immediate termination without refund and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities. We will tell you which part of this policy was breached unless doing so would obstruct an investigation.

7. Reporting abuse

Email support@clawwww.pw with a link or description. We acknowledge reports within 2 business days. If you believe content generated with Scriplume infringes your copyright, include the work concerned, where it appears, and a statement that you are the rights holder or their agent.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the product or the law changes. Material changes are announced in the changelog, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
